FIRST SNOWFALL

The first snowfall was so much fun! Jack remembered playing in the snow. Annie was in pure delight! I got tears in my eyes as I watched them running and falling in the snow. The simplest things were making them giggle- kicking a snowball, catching snowflakes on their tongue, or watching Fletcher (our Golden Retriever) run laps around them.

Jack and Annie LOVE the snow!

When we first went outside I was worried that Annie might not like the snow. She fell head first into the deep snow acted like she was going to cry then started laughing.
Jack walked laps around the bushes. I never knew that it could be so entertaining.
Annie is getting used to walking in her boots.
It was such a warm night that we went back outside and made four snowmen, Daddy, Mommy, Jack and Annie. I pulled them around on the sled. Who needs hills?

Our first Christmas tree! Erich and I have never had a live tree in the house. We have always bought a live potted tree and decorated it outside our window. I know weird but. . . we have 16 trees planted all around the house and barn. This year we did both. There are no ornaments hanging low, just in case!! Jack and Annie think it is so exciting to have a tree in the house. When it is all lit up they ooh and aah.

Jack "helps" mommy cook. He was even reading the cookbook. What a mess!!!!!
Annie "washes" dishes. The next thing I knew she stuck her head under the faucet and decided to wash her hair. It didn't hit me until I was typing this but daddy sometimes washes his hair in the sink in the morning. Jack and Annie think this is just the silliest thing and laugh and laugh. That must be why she thought about washing her hair. Just like Daddy!
