TWO WONDERFUL WEEKENDS!!

Our weekend started with 75 degree beautiful weather. We went golfing and celebrated Grandpa Bob's birthday. Annie wanted to know if Grandpa Bob was 3? She knows Jack is 3 and that she will be 3 on her birthday!




We went to The Algonquin Mill Festival and had a pancake brunch. Jack's favorite!

Our friend, Vaughn, was at the Sawmill. Jack was very intrigued with the large saw cutting boards. Annie carried around the sorguhm stalk for hours.



Annie gets a butterfly painted on her hand. It only lasted about 10 minutes until she wanted it off.

We came home from the festival and took naps. Then, we went to The Enchanted Forest at The Wilderness Center for a night hike. The path was lit with pumpkins and we learned facts about nighttime animals. Annie must have listened because she told us facts about owls on the car ride home.

We woke up to another beautiful Fall day. Our favorite part of the week is Kidstuf and the play land at church. Jack and Annie love it! Jack actually woke up singing the Kidstuf song. Grandpa Bob couldn't resist climbing around with Jack and Annie in the play land.

We ended the weekend watching the town's special fireworks. We had front row seats. The fireworks were going off in front of us. Jack and Annie were in awe!


The next Saturday was fun filled, also! We went to the pumpkin patch with a group of friends. Then we went to Alexa and Aleia's grandmas for lunch and fun.

We had a quick nap in the car and were off to another festival. The Forest Heritage Festival. There were lots of tractors. Jack (as well as Annie) were loving life. Jack found a log splitter tractor. He sat in it and tried it out. He really wants one:)



There was a draft horse on a treadmill making homemade ice cream. You don't see that everyday!



We ended the weekend painting our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. I was thinking cute faces but Jack and Annie were thinking something else!
