Maybe the rain and being close to dinnertime is the best time to go to the zoo. The animals were very active.
We went to dinner at Quaker Steak and Lube. Annie and Daddy got stuck in the car because it started to down pour. Erich told Annie they would have to wait out the rain. Annie looked at Erich and said, "I have an idea, Daddy, let's use the umbrella!" Yes, Erich was outsmarted by a three year old. They came walking in with the golf umbrella, dry as can be!

We had birthday cake when we got home.
Do you remember push ups when you were a kid? Push Ups are Jack and Annie's new favorite special treat.
We decided that the ducks were big enough to go to the pond. Annie guarded the box while Jack and Daddy caught the ducks.
Sadly, we have not seen the ducks since we let them free. We are hoping they are hidden under the brush along the pond's edges.
Annie sleeps with her pink soccer ball every night.
