Erich was on a job in Florida so Jack, Annie and I met him in Orlando the week before Thanksgiving. 
Jack and Annie were so excited to ride in an airplane. They had there backpacks on and were ready to go hours before it was time. Their backpacks looked stuffed but they only had their blankies and a change of clothes in them. OR so I thought . . . we got there and Jack opened his and it was full of tractors, too!

Jack is using his binoculars to spot tractors. He did spot tractors, amazingly!
We ate at the TRex Cafe in Downtown Disney. Annie wasn't so sure of the dinosaurs that came "alive" while we ate.
They had a big stone digging pit at the TRex cafe. They dug for dinosaur bones. 
We didn't stay at Disney but we were only 15 minutes away. We had planned on going to Sea World and some other things but. . . I couldn't be so close to Disney World and not go. Plus, we found out the week before Thanksgiving is one of the best weeks to go. This ended up being so true. There were very few lines. We started at The Animal Kingdom.

The animal safari felt like we were in Africa. Jack loved the jeep we rode in.
Annie uses her binoculars to check out some elephants. They were so close we didn't even need binoculars.
Of course, Jack found drums. He wants drums for Christmas
We finally wore them out. Erich and I took turns riding the "big kid" rides. Erich wasn't so impressed with the Mt. Everest roller coaster going backwards.
Annie was more impressed with the rainforest coming alive at the Rainforest Cafe instead of dinosaurs. Jack loved the Rainforest Cafe because they had calamari. Calamari is his favorite.
Our hotel had a great pool. We spent a lot of time swimming.
We went to The Magic Kingdom the next day. 
Annie drove the race car. She was a crazy driver. It was so much fun!
Buzz Light Year is always the favorite ride.
Of all things, Annie wanted her hair wrapped. (She hates for me to touch her hair.) I thought it would come out that night but she surprised us and kept it in for three weeks. It actually fell out by itself (which was the end of the world.) We might have to clip it into her hair with a barrette.
The longest line (15 min. ) at the Magic Kingdom was to see Mickey and Minne. They were not into seeing the characters but after seeing Mickey and Minnie's house they wanted to see them too.

The castle was all different colors. It was magical!
Jack looked like this during the fireworks. He slept right through them even thought they started at 8:00. Annie was out the second they were over.
Hollywood Studios was such a fun day!
Toy Story 3 is the new favorite ride. You wear 3D glasses and use laser guns to shoot at 3D screens.
This is my favorite picture. The parade at Hollywood Studios was so exciting. They were doing acrobats on a trampoline right in front of us.
Annie and The Little Einstiens
Jack was asleep.
The streets of Hollywood Studios were lit up for Christmas.
We spent 2 hours at Lego Land playing.
We made cars and raced them.

We ate a chocolate volcano dessert at The Rainforest Cafe. It was huge!
We couldn't skip EPCOT. Jack and Annie loved riding in the Epcot ball. They thought it was a spaceship.
Jack and Annie are not thrilled with the movie, Nemo, but they love the ride at Epcot. It ends in the aquarium. We could have stayed there all day.
Jack tried all week to catch a lizard. He finally caught one and it actually crawled up his arm and didn't want to leave.
I remember watching the water jump when I was little. Jack and Annie were amazed.

Jack and Annie were hilarious on the airplane. People several aisles away were cracking up at them. Jack took the "the bag" out of the seat pocket and said, "What's this? Yuck, why would anyone throw up in this bag?"
When it got dark Jack was looking out the window. He said, "Annie you have got to get over here and see this it's amazing!" The airplane wing was lit up.
Then the dreaded ears getting plugged. Almost at the same time they were saying in a very loud voice, "Mom, I can't hear, Mom, I can't hear!"
It was a magical week!
