Summer Excitement

Wow, I can't believe it has been a whole month since we posted.
We have had an exciting month. We went to the zoo, the rodeo, the 4th of July parade and First Town Days. We had a "China" reunion, rode horses, played with friends, celebrated birthdays, swam like fish (and are still swimming), blew bubbles, learned how to ride a bike and so much more.

Annie takes a break from swimming!

Jack loves to ride his tractor. This was the best yard sale purchase ever.

We had a fun day at The Akron Zoo with Lili and Aleia.

Most of the day was spent trying to get all four of them to look at the camera at the same time. Lili and Aleia had no problems however, Jack and Annie always seemed to be a little distracted.

Jack looks at me from the climbing wall.

Finally, a cute picture of all four of them.

Jack and Annie were touching a starfish and a crab.

This is the turtle that skinned Jack's chin! I was taking his picture and he slid forward and hit the head of the turtle. He only cried for a minute then wanted to get back on and pose again!
When people ask him what happened, Annie pipes in and says, "Stone TURTLE, Stone TURTLE!"

Cousin Briko is a policeman and was at The First Town Days. Now every time we see a policeman in this uniform Jack and Annie yell, "Briko, Briko!"
Yum!
Grandpa Bob rides the train with Jack and Annie. Annie told him, "Too big, Grandpa Bob!"
Jack could hardly contain himself when the combine went by in the parade.

Annie was jumping up and down screaming, "Lizzy, Lizzy!" Lizzy is Annie's favorite from the movie, Cars.
Enough excitement, it's time to eat a piece of candy- Jack and Annie happily discovered that they throw candy during the parade. Aunt Kelly was at the end of the parade and she had run out of candy. She ask Annie for a piece of hers. First, Annie couldn't believe that Aunt Kelly was in the parade THEN she cried when Aunt Kelly left with one of her Tootsie Rolls. She still talks about it a month later. She says with so much expression, "Aunt Kelly in parade, take Annie's candy!"

Rodeo fun!
Annie pets a baby calf.
I think Jack needs a miniature donkey?
There was a terrible storm that brought the rodeo to a halt but then a beautiful rainbow appeared.

Five of the nine couples that traveled to China with us came to Ohio for a "China" Reunion. We had so much fun together and hope the other four couples can make it next year.

It was great to see all of the girls together. Hannah, Audrey, Annie, Kaitlin and Alexa

Mommies with their girls

Checking out the fish, luckily no one fell in.

Lunch with our friends from China

Annie's favorite thing to do is ride, Nanny. She sits up so tall and has the greatest balance.

Cousin Beth Ann and Gigi
Not so much luck getting everyone to smile at once!!!!

Aunt Kelly's birthday!
Notice the band aids on Annie's arm, I think she had a total of 10 on her body!

Jack is finally full of confidence and swimming by himself

Our little fish with no fears!

Annie loves to blow bubbles!

Annie shows her "new" teeth! She went to the dentist and had them polished. They were stained around the gums. She screamed, "Taste yucky, taste yucky!" as the dentist was polishing them. Now, they are pearly white!!!!

Good pics! For the pool pics to be realistic however, I think Mitsi should be eating something off of the table. :) Hope she is doing ok.
