HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNIE!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Annie! We celebrated Annie's birthday in Jacksonville, Florida. Erich had a North American Van Lines convention and we went along. Yes, we were there on Annie's actual birthday which was February 10th, I am VERY late posting, SORRY!

Annie digs into her cake. Jack decides he wants to take just one sprinkle.

Grandma Jane and Grandpa Bob traveled with us.
We went swimming on Annie's birthday. The water temperature was 85 degrees but the air was only 60 degrees. There was lots of screaming when we got out of the the water- from mom, too!
Annie plays in the Tide Pool. She didn't care that it was really cold.

Jack found a dog's ball. He didn't care that it was cold, either. If he has his tractor in hand all is good!
Jack and Annie crossed the Tide Pool and headed for the big waves.
We yelled and told them to stop. Jack looked around to see if we were serious. Then. . .
Erich ran after them. He had to jump the Tide Pool first. Annie points to Jack and says, "Daddy, Gack!"
Jack and Annie check out a praying mantis. They love bugs!

We went to an alligator farm. Jack and Annie were very impressed with all of the alligators.
Annie chose an alligator stuffed animal from the gift shop. Jack was more into the birds. He wanted a toucan. He named it Brooke after Nico's mom.
Jack and Grandma Jane check out the peacocks.
Jack took a drink from The Fountain of Youth. It smelled like rotten eggs. He liked it!
Jack stands on a street in St. Augustine that was voted one of the top 10 prettiest streets in the USA. Florida was a lot of fun. But Jack and Annie were happy to get home to the snow. It sure did snow a lot while we were gone.
