LAST SNOW?

Two posts in just a few days???? Yes, I had to post today it is February 29th- Leap Year. This day won't come again for 4 years. We had a lot of snow today and this week. During the week it was very cold and we couldn't go out to play. Today it got warm (yes, 35 degrees felt like a heat wave). We went outside tonight and plowed the driveway and made a snowman. It was great packing snow. Ohio is great! We love the snow!



We have been reading, A Stranger in the Woods by Carl R. Sams & Jean Stoick. I bet we have read the book several dozen times this week. It is a book with real photographs of a snowman in the woods. It shows all the animals checking out the snowman. A deer actually eats the carrot nose. Jack and Annie were so excited to put a real carrot nose on our snowman. They want a deer to eat it tonight. The teacher in me had to take a picture with the book. Jack and Annie didn't want to hold it so I put it next to the snowman. It is hard enough to get them both to just stand still in the same picture. By the way, they named our snowman, Brooke. They love Brooke- Nico's mom!


Jack could sit and plow for days.

Annie finally LOVES to read books. She reads by herself or wants me to read nonstop. She says, "More Book!".

Fletcher has become a very spoiled dog the last few months. He goes everywhere with us including the car. Jack and Annie think this is the funniest thing ever!
