We went to the clinic today for Annie's medical exam. It was a bit of a let down because it was mainly a formality we had to do. We didn't get much information. She was sleeping when they did the eyes and ears check and the doctor marked normal. They weighed her with her clothes on and she weighed about 18.9 pounds and was about 28 inches tall. Her head circumference was about 17.5 inches. The doctor listened to her heart but I'm not sure what he heard because she screamed. We walked to the clinic and then shopped on our way back to the hotel. There are awesome little shops up and down the streets. I got polo shirts and dresses for $5 each. Grandpa Bob and Grandma Jane were taking a nap with Jack.

This is the ornery side of Jack. Don't worry, Annie knows how to defend herself, well!!!!
All of a sudden, the army crawl turned into a real crawl.
She's crawling on her knees. It is unbelievable!
We had a bath together tonight. Notice Jack has a bink in the bathtub so he doesn't accidentally swallow any water. We figure, at this point, Annie is used to the water. Hope so? Can you tell she is our second child???? Jack would have been in a full metal jacket before we would have put him in this water. I was changing Annie on the bed this afternoon and I walked across the room to get a diaper. My dad was observing and laughing. He said I would have had Jack strapped to the bed before leaving him to walk across the room. Live and learn, right! I know you are laughing right now, Shay!!!!!!We are going to get up and watch OSU. We think we can get it live on the computer this might cut into blog time. :) We only were able to read play by play of the semi-finals. Goodnight! Two more days of fun then a long plane ride. Stay tuned. . . Love, Kari

I can't believe that I beat Melissa! She usually comments first...
What am I going to do when you guys get back home? I'll have no blogs to check.
What an amazing trip, China is so rich in history. You're right too, Annie looks older than she did 1 week ago. What TLC will do!

Cindy

And why were you worried about Annie's motor skills? One week later and she is getting all around!
Since you are more relaxed with #2, does that mean that she'll be permitted to have snacks at the pool and nobody will have to sneak them to her when you're taking someone else's child to the bathroom?
Today is Lili's Gotcha Day. We didn't do anything too exciting, but she got a pair of Crocs for a little Gotcha Day gift. They cost a little more than her squeaky shoes did 2 years ago! She noticed that Annie is now wearing squeaky shoes.
Love all the new pictures! Keep sending them.
See you soon!
Love,
Nancy and Lili
